SWAYGO WARRANTY

SWAYGO gear is guaranteed!  SWAYGO warrants their gear to the original purchaser to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for as long as you own our product*.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by the product, deterioration due to normal wear or damage due to abuse, alteration, modifications, negligence, accidents, or non-recommended repair methods.  The warranty is limited to SWAYGO gear only.

Our high-quality materials and manufacturing techniques are intended to provide our customers with years and years of good use.  If dissatisfied, SWAYGO will repair or replace at their discretion after product inspection.  To keep it simple, just email SWAYGO at info@swaygogear.com to notify us of your beef with our gear and we'll take it from there.  Just as we do with our favorite gear, we expect some will wear out our products and if you think that you didn't get your monies worth, just let us know.  We're committed to being fair and making it right.

*Notes:

- While the SWAYGO PACK concept and materials are waterproof, you should always place additional protection with your gear when using the pack.  As a example, if you have a nice digital camera...pad it and place it in a waterproof container anyway.  The SWAYGO PACKS are intended to keep water and mud out while CLOSED.  The more it is opened, the more likely one can introduce water and mud and the possibility of damaging the packs contents.

- The Quick Strap is not climbing rated and therefore should not be used as a component or replacement to your climbing or safety equipment.

SWAYGO PACK REPAIR

Instructions for repairing holes in SWAYGO PACKS. These repairs must be performed in a very well ventilated area. A respirator and gloves are recommended.

Materials needed:

1. Well ventilated area

2. Aquaseal

3. Sandpaper

4. Rubbing alcohol

5. Paper towel or rag

6. Tape

7. Cardboard or newspaper

Step by step:

1. Clean the pack. Inside and out. Water and a brush or rag work well. Wipe it dry to remove any remaining residue. Clean it again if necessary. The material needs to be very clean for the sealant to stick.

2. Find and mark the hole. The simplest way to do this is to stand in bright sunlight, stick your head in the pack and look for light leaking in. Another way is to fill the pack with water while keeping the outside dry. The water will leak through any holes. Mark the hole so you can find it later.

3. Prepare work space. In a well ventilated place, spread cardboard or newspaper to catch any drips or accidents.

4. Roughen the area. Use sandpaper to scuff the area around the hole. The Aquaseal will stick better to rough surfaces.

5. Tape the underside of the hole. Place a piece of tape on the inside of the pack, under the hole, so the Aquaseal does not leak through.

6. Clean the hole. Thoroughly clean the area around the hole with rubbing alcohol. This will remove any oils or other residue.

7. Apply the Aquaseal. In a well ventilated area, apply a small amount of Aquaseal over the hole. Spread the Aquaseal with a circular motion so it extends at least a 1/4" around the hole.

8. Let dry. On a flat surface, so the Aquaseal does not run. Allow the the patch to dry for 24 hours.

9. Check the patch. After it is dry, check to make sure the Aquaseal is adhered well. It should be clear or slightly cloudy and flexible.

10. Go caving.
